Allegro understands that early interaction with customers produces the best results.  Allegro’s Foundation™ methodology utilizes proven processes to meet business needs, on time.  A central theme to Foundation™ is immediate and continuous engagement of customers to understand their business sensitivities, timelines, and objectives. 

The Foundation™ implementation process ensures customers receive the best possible service and results by: 

  • Assigning permanent Allegro support personnel at the beginning of the implementation. 

  • Establishing open communication channels with Allegro consultants and customer’s teams.

  • Delivering frequent and transparent reporting.

  • Continuously validating all data specifications and requirements.

  • Having the flexibility to make improvements throughout the implementation process.

  • Ensuring issues do not affect project timeline.

How Foundation methodology works

The methodology is straightforward.  The central theme is quickly leveraging customer goals and priorities to ensure the implementation is executed in a pragmatic, timely manner.   Allegro experts leverage customer input, concerns and needs - throughout the implementation process:

  • Plan Phase: Collaboration, understanding customer data (data tables, confirm data source), preparing and approving a project plan, and conducting project kickoff meetings are key to the plan phase.
  • Translate Phase: This transforms unique customer data into a format Allegro can utilize.  Allegro focuses on data translation up-front as it’s the corner-stone to successful projects.  This phase documents and creates data conversions in accordance with Allegro standard procedures, while accounting for unique customer requirements.  Together Allegro and the customer confirm each procedure per the agreed upon acceptance criteria.  Allegro gets customer approval on scope.
  • Integrate Phase: Allegro works with the customer to create data conversions, new views of information, reports, other system configurations and extensions that tailor the Allegro implementation to the customer’s unique needs.
  • Validate Phase: Design is validated during review and final acceptance of the customer’s system.  Allegro conducts incremental training for users of the system, including one-on-one, or small group training prior to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) where customers will validate each procedure and final deployment.
  • Deploy Phase: Data is incrementally refreshed and/or entered manually while staging the database.  Allegro will conduct end-user training and execute final automated data conversion routines, achieving customer approval for user training and go-live.
  • Operate Phase: This phase provides post-deployment on-site support for an agreed period of time, and includes receiving project completion approval from customer.

Allegro uses the Project Management Office (PMO) to help customers and Allegro consultants manage projects, resources, costs and capture project deliverables in a reusable format.  Allegro tracking reports are complete, concise and generated weekly to provide a detailed project analysis with performance metrics. This level of detail is particularly helpful in delivering consistent, predictable results by monitoring variables that can affect on-time and on-budget status.
